Andrea Guendelman is an adjunct professor of law at the University of Colorado Law School in Boulder, where she teaches secured transactions, business planning, and contract drafting. She also serves as a legal consultant for organizations that invest in sustainable entrepreneurship throughout the world
She is one of the organizers of Startup Phenomenon: Women. In 2012, she organized the largest innovation event in Latin America that featured Al Gore and attracted over 10,000 attendees in Santiago, Chile (Common Pitch Chile).
Andrea practiced as a lawyer in New York, Washington, DC, and New Mexico. In New York, she worked at Debevoise & Plimpton on cross-border financing transactions. In Washington, DC, she practiced in the Office of the General Counsel at the Export-Import Bank of the United States. At ExIm, she worked on transactions in which the U.S. government provided financing for companies exporting goods and services generated in the United States.
She obtained her law degree from the University of Chile and an LLM from Harvard Law School. She is admitted to practice law in Chile and New York.@northsur
