Sharon Vosmek

Sharon Vosmek is CEO of Astia, a company committed to building women leaders and accelerating the growth of women-led startups. She has led the effort to double Astia’s resources, which include mentors, coaches, sponsors, investors, thought-leaders, and serial entrepreneurs. Sharon is also on the Advisory Board for Illuminate Ventures and StarVest Partners. Prior to joining Astia, Sharon founded SJ Vosmek & Associates, a management firm whose clients included PG&E, PacBell (now AT&T), and the University of Wisconsin Madison. She has also held management positions at American Express and in the office of U.S. Senator Dennis DeConcini. She currently serves on the Stevenage Bioscience Catalyst Experts Advisor Group, the steering committee for the Cherie Blair Foundation, and the City of San Francisco Mayor’s Commission on Biotech. A sought-after speaker, Sharon has participated in the White House Women’s Entrepreneurship Conference; the Presidential Summit on Entrepreneurship, led by Secretary of State Hillary Clinton; and the White House’s StartUP America initiative.
